Elephant In the Room - Thesis Film Project - SHort film - 2018
Elephant in the Room is a dark comedy about two young women, Priscilla and Mia, whose friendship has thrived through all kinds of misadventures since childhood. However, their bond is about to be tested. On a rather unassuming day, while doing taxes, Priscilla gets an emergency call from Mia, pleading for Priscilla to come as quickly as she can to her house. Upon arriving, to Priscilla’s utter shock and surprise, she finds out Mia has accidentally killed her latest boyfriend during a rather intense fight. After a ton of convincing from Mia, Priscilla reluctantly agrees to help dispose of the body, but the question now is: will their friendship survive this latest insanity, or will helping cover up a murder be what finally breaks it?

Daisy - Intermediate Film Project - Short Film - 2017
Daisy is a lighthearted drama about a college student of the same name. Daisy is a talented, lonely, young woman who constantly doubts her abilities and self worth, and the fact that she has gone her whole life without ever having been on a single date, let alone having been in a relationship, certainly doesn’t help. So when a fellow student from her college asks her out, Daisy is over-joyed with the prospect of finally starting her first romance. But will her first date really be thing she needs to fill in that void in her heart, or is her problem coming from a much deeper place?
I directed, produced, wrote, and edited this film during my time at the New York Film Academy - Los Angeles campus. This is my intermediate film produced in early 2017.
