Cody Aldridge: Filmmaker and Story Teller EXTRAORDINAIRE (or so he tells himself)
Cody Aldridge is a film-maker born in 1994, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to a lower middle class family. From a young age, he had a strong interest in film, and created short videos and stories. After graduating from high school in the Spring of 2013, he joined University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) fall of the same year, enrolling in a Bachelor's in Biology with minors in both Geology and Film.
In 2015, at the age of twenty, he left UCCS, and joined the accelerated BFA program for Film at the New York Film Academy - Los Angeles campus, to pursue his passion. He graduated in 2018. During his time at NYFA, in addition to his own creations, he was involved in over forty different short-film, student, and independent projects. He has written, directed, produced, and edited a number of his own projects, which includes his short film, Elephant in the Room (2018), and an unofficial commercial for Nintendo. He has also served as sound mixer, boom operator, sound designer, and first assistant director, through which he earned experience and skills in almost all areas of film production. He further enhanced his skill set working as a Production Assistant for the A&E TV channel, and continues to produce scripts and develop projects during his free time.
